Biden Unleashes Fury on GOP Following Stopgap Spending Bill Victory

President Joe Biden signed a bill to temporarily fund the government, preventing a federal shutdown. In true Biden fashion, he wasted no time complaining about “MAGA extremists.” Is he still hung up on the election? It’s been months, Joe, move on! The Washington Examiner reported that Biden went on a tirade, telling Republicans to “stop the games” and get to work. Is he implying that the only ones playing games are the Republicans? Maybe he should take a look in the mirror.

But let’s focus on the positive – the government is temporarily funded for another 45 days. The compromise bill includes $16 billion in disaster relief and maintains the government’s funding at 2023 levels. However, it seems like the Democrats are never satisfied. Colorado Democratic Sen. Michael Bennett threatened to block the bill because it didn’t include more funding for Ukraine. Seriously? We have our own problems to solve, but sure, let’s prioritize Ukraine.

Luckily, Bennett backed down after Senate leaders agreed to schedule a separate vote on Ukraine aid. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer seized the opportunity to show off his support for Ukraine. We get it, Chuck, you love Ukraine. But shouldn’t we be focusing on the American people first?

Not to be outdone, Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman took his shots at the Republicans too. He compared them to “The Steve Wilkos Show.” Seriously, John? Is that the best insult you’ve got? Maybe instead of name-calling, you could focus on actually getting things done for the American people.

In the end, the government is funded, for now. But watching Biden and his pals throw tantrums is getting exhausting. Can we have a president who acts like a leader instead of a petulant child? Is that too much to ask?
