Bidenomics: Double the Grief as Americans Slump Economically in 2023!

According to a recent survey from Rasmussen, nearly half of Americans are singing the economic blues under Biden’s watch. The survey of over 1,100 Americans found that a whopping 45 percent say they are worse off financially compared to a year ago. Ouch! Talk about hitting Americans where it hurts.

But wait, it gets worse. Only 23 percent of respondents say they are better off economically, leaving a depressing 22-point gap. It seems like Biden’s promise of a brighter economic future has fallen flat for many Americans.

Oh, and let’s not forget about the 29 percent who say they’re just treading water, barely staying afloat financially. They’re not feeling any better off than they were a year ago. Looks like Biden’s economic policies are sinking faster than a leaky boat.

Inflation, or as Biden’s critics like to call it, “Bidenflation,” is a major culprit for this economic downturn. Consumer prices have been on the rise, with a 3.1 percent increase in the 12 months leading up to November. That’s not exactly pocket change. And since Biden took office, consumer prices have skyrocketed by a whopping 16.8 percent. Ouch!

Sure, wages have increased a bit, but they’re still falling behind the rising tide of inflation. Average hourly wages have gone up by 14.3 percent since Biden took office, but that’s still two-and-a-half points below the inflation rate. It’s like trying to swim against a strong current – you’re just not getting anywhere.

It’s no surprise that Democrats, known for their rose-colored glasses, are more likely to think they’re better off under the Biden administration. Thirty-nine percent of Democrats say they’re doing fabulously. But when you look at Republicans and independents, the numbers tell a different story. Only 18 percent of Republicans and a mere 13 percent of Americans not affiliated with a major party can say the same. Looks like the Democratic bubble is in full swing.

And let’s not forget about the racial divide. Black Americans seem to be singing a different tune than their counterparts. While 32 percent of blacks feel worse off economically, a staggering 45 percent of whites and 55 percent of other minorities share the same sentiment. Looks like the Biden administration has some explaining to do when it comes to economic equality.

So, there you have it. Bidenomics has left many Americans feeling like they’re drowning in financial woes. And with inflation on the rise and wages falling behind, it’s no wonder they’re not exactly happy campers. Maybe it’s time for the Biden administration to start listening to the American people and get their economic act together. Just a thought.
