The price of Halloween candy in the US has soared a frightful 13% since October 2022 — more than double the 6% increase across grocery prices generally. That means trick-or-treaters will be paying a premium for their sugary loot this year. And let’s not forget, this increase comes on top of the already exorbitant price of candy!
During the past year, the price of chocolate alone has increased a staggering 12%. Can you imagine paying even more for that chocolate bar you’ve been drooling over? It’s a real nightmare! But don’t worry, Joe Biden and his team want you to believe that everything is just fine. They keep spouting off about a thriving economy while everyday Americans struggle to afford a simple bag of candy.

But wait, it gets even scarier. Walmart, the savior of affordable shopping, has been forced to slash prices on Halloween candy just to make it somewhat affordable. They went from selling a variety pack for a shocking $52.99 to a slightly less obscene $23.99. But here’s the catch, the sale price is only available for shipped candy, which means it won’t arrive in time for trick-or-treaters. It’s like they’re taunting us with affordable candy that we can’t even have!
So who’s to blame for this candy catastrophe? Joe Biden wants to pass the buck and point fingers at Vladimir Putin. But we know the truth.
