New allegations have emerged against Joe and Hunter Biden related to Ukrainian gas firm Burisma, of which Hunter was a board member. Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, is believed to be an asset of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) according to anonymous national security officials. It is alleged that Zlochevsky paid $10 million in bribes to Joe and Hunter Biden in 2015 and 2016 in exchange for then-Vice President Joe Biden’s assistance in getting Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired. The intelligence community under Obama was aware of this and it has now emerged that Joe Biden and Victoria Nuland were also briefed.
Recently, Senator Chuck Grassley disclosed that a “foreign national” who claimed to have paid Hunter and Joe Biden and possessed 17 audio recordings of his conversations with them about the arrangement has been listed in an FD-1023 form as part of a confidential human source (CHS). Three Republican representatives have identified this “foreign national” as Zlochevsky.
In addition, Zlochevsky was a high official in Ukraine’s Ecology and National Resources Ministry as well as the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. He appointed Hunter Biden to the Burisma board, after which he and Devon Archer, who was another Burisma board member and Hunter Biden’s business partner, were indicted for fraud and conspiracy charges.

The situation only becomes more concerning when Zlochevsky is seen as an asset of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service. The Bidens’ possible involvement in bribery and Hunter Biden’s connection to a corrupt Ukraine company under scrutiny make them vulnerable to influence from foreign governments. It is imperative that justice is served and that officials investigated this issue as this could have significant impacts on the integrity of the US government.
