As the number of illegal immigrants entering the southern border continues to increase, it’s clear that Joe Biden is not doing enough to address the issue. US Border Patrol agents have no choice but to use force.
On Friday, the US Border Patrol released hundreds of illegal immigrants on the streets of San Diego after apprehending them near the border with Mexico. Fox News was able to film the individuals as they exited three unmarked buses.
In the video, an illegal immigrant asked a Border Patrol agent if he would be able to cross into Chicago. The agent then said that he was free to do whatever he wanted to do. It’s shocking to see how little enforcement there is on the border, and how the country's immigration laws are being ignored.
Although the buses were not linked to Texas Governor Greg Abbott or the state's immigration policy, the actions of Biden are directly related to his policies on the border. His disregard for the law has allowed dangerous drugs, such as fentanyl, to enter the country. It is a threat to national security.
A vendor in the area said that this was not the first time that he had seen buses dropping off migrants. The footage shows the individuals struggling to figure out how to get out of the area. This is a direct result of Biden's failure to address the growing border crisis.
Due to its proximity to Mexico's Tijuana, San Diego is at risk from the influx of illegal immigrants. The lack of action by the Biden administration has encouraged people to illegally cross the border. In May 2021, over 180,000 individuals were apprehended by the US Customs and Border Protection. This is the highest number of illegal immigrants apprehended in the country in over two decades.
As the number of border encounters continues to increase, states such as Texas are forced to take action. In August, it is expected that the number of encounters will reach over 230,000. In response to the growing crisis, the state's National Guard troops used razor wire to prevent migrants from entering the country.
It's a sad state that states are forced to step in and protect their borders due to the failure of the federal government to carry out its duties.
It is clear that President Biden's policies on the border are not working. The influx of illegal immigrants is threatening the country's security and putting a strain on the resources of the country. It's time for a change. We need leaders who prioritize the rule of law and border security.
