Record levels of illegal immigration at the southern border continue to plague the Biden-Harris administration, and the numbers released by officials paint a dismal picture. Just as Americans are busy preparing for holiday festivities, it turns out the government has another surprise in store—an avalanche of illegal immigrants flooding into the country under the current leadership that most would like to Forget-quickly.
The latest data reveals that, by Biden’s departure in January 2025, approximately ten million illegal migrants will have been welcomed into the nation. That’s right, ten million—a number that even the most ambitious Open-Border advocates might consider a tad excessive. Even while the administration tries to play this down, it’s hard to miss the fact that they’ve managed to “register” this many while blocking only a fraction under Title 42. It seems “blocking” is not exactly the same thing as “stopping.”

What’s even more astonishing is that while the Biden team rolled out the welcome mat for illegal immigrants, they hardly packed a suitcase for those being sent back. The numbers suggest only a paltry 1.9 million were actually “removed.” As the remaining millions move in, it’s clear they’re taking up valuable resources only meant for law-abiding Americans, like housing and jobs. But hey, who needs stability in their own country when you can have the chaos of a border crisis?
As if the sheer numbers weren’t alarming enough, there’s also the matter of the 2.2 million sneaky “gotaways.” These are the folks who managed to slip through the cracks, likely on their way to becoming part of the ever-expanding “Undocumented American Dream.” The Biden team surely aims to showcase their dedication to diversity, but as history has shown, there’s nothing diverse about losing control over one’s own border.
Enter the political wild card: President-Elect Donald Trump. With promises to restore order and put a stop to the free-for-all at the border, he’s made it crystal clear that he won’t be backing down from taking strong actions. The Biden administration’s lax policies will face serious scrutiny as he plans to prioritize border security. Staring at the looming approach of Trump’s return, it’s like witnessing the sun rise after a long, dark night—finally, some hope for those who cherish law and order.
Democratic governors seem poised to resist these changes, making it clear they’d like to maintain their “sanctuary” status for illegal immigrants. Talk about a classic Liberal move: states positioning themselves as independent countries to undermine federal authority. For many Americans who have watched their safety slip away as crime rates soar in border states, the arrival of a tough-on-immigration Trump administration cannot come soon enough.
