In a recent announcement at the White House, President Joe Biden disclosed his true intentions regarding the border deal he's negotiating with Senate Democrats. It's no secret – he aims to provide amnesty for illegal migrants currently residing in the United States.
Biden revealed to reporters that the Senate bill proposed by Sens. James Lankford (R-OK), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) would essentially open the floodgates, allowing thousands of illegal migrants to enter the U.S. each year without facing consequences for their actions.

Under Biden's purported "border security" package, a staggering 1.5 million illegal immigrants would have the opportunity to gain legal status in the United States and enjoy the same benefits as hardworking, taxpaying American citizens. Many view this as fundamentally unjust.
Furthermore, the Senate deal would allocate a significant $2.3 billion of taxpayer money to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other entities that aid and abet illegal migration. This allocation has sparked outrage, as it appears to reward unlawful behavior.
Adding to the controversy, the bill would increase legal migration while millions of illegal migrants are already residing in the country – a historical high. This raises concerns about the strain on resources and infrastructure.
Moreover, the package includes provisions for granting green cards to illegal aliens until 2030, alongside substantial security assistance to Israel and Ukraine. Critics argue that these allocations demonstrate misplaced priorities.
Despite acknowledging that the bill falls short of his desires, Biden urged Congress to swiftly pass it, emphasizing the need for documentation for those already present in the country. However, many perceive this as a brazen attempt to push through amnesty legislation.
In reality, the package does little to address the issue of illegal migration, according to Biden himself. He admitted that this bill represents only the first step in the Democratic Party's broader goal of granting amnesty to the estimated 11 to 22 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S.
Furthermore, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) warned that granting amnesty could result in lower wages for American workers and financial strain on families, while benefiting businesses. Additionally, it could exacerbate housing demand, leading to increased home prices and interest rates, particularly impacting working and middle-class Americans already facing economic challenges.
