An illegal migrant from Venezuela apparently has quite the criminal portfolio, managing to rack up at least 22 offenses in a mere six months, all while eluding deportation thanks to the Biden-Harris administration’s less-than-stellar border policies. Daniel Hernandez-Martinez, a suspect linked to the notorious “Tren de Aragua” gang, was granted entry into the U.S. in early 2023. It seems that shortly after his welcome mat was rolled out, he decided to embark on a crime spree, terrorizing the good folks of New York City.
The laundry list of crimes attributed to Hernandez-Martinez includes petit larceny, criminal possession of a weapon, and even several assaults, including instances on the very officers sworn to protect the community. It’s almost as if he received a handbook on how to break the law in the land of the free and decided to check off every box on the list. The fact that he wasn’t detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) until after a string of altercations with the New York Police Department is a true testament to government inefficiency.
