Oh boy, the Titanic known as Joe Biden’s campaign is sinking faster than ever. After an embarrassingly chaotic first presidential debate, old Joe finds himself with a shrinking circle of support, mainly consisting of family members who share his last name. Apparently, the “Biden Bunch” led by Hunter and Jill are the only ones still cheering for the captain, regardless of how disastrous the prognosis looks.
While the Biden family rallies around their inevitably fading patriarch, it’s clear plenty of Democrats are less than enthusiastic about playing for Team Biden. Hollywood liberals, feminist cliques, party bigwigs, and maybe even his former boss, Obama, all seem to read the writing on the wall.
In fact, even Biden’s former press secretary has jumped ship. Jen Psaki, the woman who used to bend over backward at the podium to defend Joe’s every gaffe, recently appeared on the “Pod Save America” podcast. The podcast, run by a group of former Obama staffers who frankly seemed like they missed their heyday, discussed Biden’s chances moving forward.

Predictably, Psaki exhibited an eagerness to abandon Joe just like the rest of Biden’s fair-weather friends. According to Psaki, there’s an obvious alternative to Joe, and it’s none other than the cackling Kamala Harris. Psaki opined that Kamala should be the next big thing for Democrats, touting her lacklustre credentials and labelling her a fierce communicator, whatever that means.
But it wouldn’t be a Psaki monologue without insulting Americans. She insinuated public opinion hasn’t caught up with Kamala, suggesting America’s so-called sexism and racism might be to blame. Let’s be honest, Psaki labeling Americans as prejudiced is just a desperate attempt to excuse Kamala’s unpopularity.
After plunging through Biden’s shipwreck of a debate, Psaki also took time to veer off course, diving into topics like Trump’s rallies and democracy abroad. One can’t help but laugh at their futile attempts to paint a hopeful picture while the Democratic ship takes on water.
The common theme here is the Democratic party’s desperation to plug the sinking ship with Kamala’s shipwreck of a reputation, hoping the American public will forget the mess they’ve made. If Psaki represents the best defense they’ve got, Biden’s Titanic is on a one-way trip to the bottom.
