It’s been a rough week for President Joe Biden as the special counsel, Robert Hur, has wrapped up his investigation into the mishandling of classified documents. The report is set to be released soon, and rumor has it, it’s not looking good for ol’ Joe.

The investigation, which focused on approximately 25 classified documents found at both Biden’s former office and his home in Wilmington, Delaware, has surely put a damper on the President’s day. It’s as if the truth was just hiding in his own backyard all along.
Although Biden’s aides believe that no criminal charges will come out of the report, the President’s allies are bracing themselves for the fallout. And with half of Congress being run by Republicans, you can bet they’ll be more than happy to shine a spotlight on Biden’s mishaps, especially the ones he criticized former President Donald Trump for. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
To add fuel to the fire, this whole mess comes fresh off the heels of the FBI’s search of Trump’s resort in Palm Beach, Florida, in August 2022. Trump is facing felony charges related to his handling of classified documents, showing that both sides of the aisle seem to have a knack for getting into hot water.
The whole investigation was set in motion back in January 2023 when Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Hur to look into Biden, as both Biden and Trump were gearing up for a possible run in the 2024 presidential election. Coincidence? We think not.
With Biden being grilled for two days at the White House by Hur, as well as numerous conversations with his current and former staffers, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken and former White House chief of staff Ron Klain, it’s safe to say that this news ain’t gonna help ol’ Joe’s reelection chances. And if you ask us, that’s a good thing.
