President Joe Biden’s climate agenda is causing major turmoil for the U.S. economy and damaging our country’s reputation on the global stage. It’s no secret that Biden is fixated on climate change, but he seems to have little concern for the negative consequences of his policies. And to make matters worse, his administration is filled with hypocrites who don’t practice what they preach.

One of the most egregious examples of this hypocrisy is John Kerry, Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate. Despite his job being centered around lecturing people about changing their behavior to combat climate change, Kerry himself is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Talk about a double standard!
It’s not just Kerry’s personal actions that are problematic, but also the State Department’s failure to comply with Biden’s own executive order on greenhouse gas emissions reporting. While Biden expects everyday Americans to make sacrifices, his own administration is conveniently exempt from accountability.
Senator Joni Ernst has had enough of this hypocrisy and is fighting back with the “Executive Branch Emissions Transparency Act.” This bill would require an honest assessment of the emissions created by President Biden, Kerry, and the rest of the administration during their travels. It’s about time someone held these climate crusaders accountable.
Ernst rightly points out the absurdity of the administration’s jet-setting to climate conferences around the world. If they genuinely believe that climate change is an existential threat, why not conduct these meetings virtually? It’s sheer hypocrisy to demand sacrifices from everyday Americans while enjoying the luxury of international travel.
But it’s not just the trips themselves that are problematic. Kerry has traveled to various destinations, including the World Economic Forum in Davos and a G7 meeting in Japan, without adhering to the transparency requirements of Biden’s own executive order. This blatant disregard for accountability is simply unacceptable.
The Biden administration claims that climate change is a serious threat to the planet, yet they are unwilling to practice what they preach. It’s time for Americans to see through their hypocrisy and demand real solutions, not empty gestures and virtue signaling.
So the next time a government official tells you to give up your gas stove or stop eating beef, remember that it’s part of the Biden administration’s unaccountable and hypocritical plan to save the planet. Don’t be fooled by their empty promises. The real solution lies in holding our leaders accountable and demanding transparency in their actions.
