The likelihood of President Joe Biden gracefully bowing out of the 2024 election has skyrocketed, thanks in no small part to his abysmal performance during the recent debate against former President Donald Trump. Those who have clung to the illusion of a strong Biden candidacy, including his media cronies and some Democrats in Congress, finally dropped their poker faces and started to hint that it may be time for Old Joe to pack it in. In what can only be described as a last-ditch effort to steer Biden toward retirement, his family now finds itself in the rather awkward position of assessing the best way to help him exit stage left.
In true fashion, the Biden administration has responded to the swirling speculation with the customary denial. While spokespeople insist that there’s absolutely no truth to the rumors, one can’t help but wonder if they are merely stalling for time, hoping Biden will show up one day ready to challenge Trump. Meanwhile, as the news cycle picks up pace around this developing story, rumors are rampant that many of Biden’s Democrat pals are trying to convince him to consider his options—options that don’t involve standing on a debate stage again.

According to reports, a staggering 35 Democrats have now made their feelings known publicly about Biden needing to exit, leaving many to poke fun at the situation. It’s not just a handful of disgruntled party members. That number represents over 10% of Democrats in Congress crying out for a change, raising the question of who exactly is sticking up for Biden at this point. Perhaps they are holding onto hope that he’ll wake up one morning fully energized and ready to conquer the world—or maybe they just fear a stampede of Trump supporters if they can’t find another viable candidate.
As pressure mounts, it is now widely believed that Biden’s days as a candidate could be numbered. The party reportedly is feeling the heat to secure a more viable candidate, as many realize that his stale campaign is turning into a recipe for disaster.
