Biden’s Decline Forces Democrats Into Secretive Succession Planning

The truth about Joe Biden’s capabilities has been bubbling to the surface, and it’s not a pretty sight. The deterioration of the president has been apparent to anyone with two functioning eyes, even Democrats. While the liberal media has been hard at work dragging a soggy blanket of denial over Biden’s glaring shortcomings, his performance—or lack thereof—during the June debate against Donald Trump pretty much bulldozed that facade right into the dustbin of history. Biden was not just slow; he was the embodiment of a tortoise in a race where the hare actually showed up.

The Democratic Party’s aftershocks were palpable following that cringe-inducing debate. It’s now common knowledge among party insiders that they were scrambling to find a way to pull the plug on Biden’s candidacy. A recent book reveals that even the top brass were whispering about the unsettling possibility that Biden might check out before his term ended, stirring up a whole circus of contingency planning. The ridiculousness of it all—preparing for the scenario of Biden’s potential demise—can’t help but raise an eyebrow.

Leading this bizarre charge was none other than Kamala Harris’ communications director, Jamal Simmons. He spearheaded discussions on how to manage the fallout should Biden shuffle off this mortal coil. They even went so far as to pencil in a “death-pool roster” of judges who could swear Harris into office. One has to wonder if they tossed in suggestions for a magician, because a semblance of stability under these circumstances would certainly require some illusion.

Right from day one of his presidency, Biden’s aides sensed things were amiss. Rather than coming to grips with reality and encouraging some accountability, they’ve opted instead to make Kamala Harris’ life a nightmare. Even when they shove him aside for the upcoming election, it seems they’ve made it their mission to keep her shackled to Biden’s disastrous policies. The mantra that has been echoed is clear: “No daylight, kid.” Apparently, confusion in the party ranks is the name of the game.

To say Biden is a selfish clown would be putting it mildly, but it paints an accurate picture nonetheless. The notion that he might sabotage Harris for the good of the party is laughable; after all, her leadership is hardly seen as an upgrade. Sure, she’s younger, but just as incapable of handling even the simplest media interactions without coming off like a deer caught in headlights. In the grand stage of political comedy, Biden and Harris are serving up a double feature nobody asked for.
