In a move that is sure to plunge the country into the dark ages, President Joe Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken the radical step of advancing new regulations that would force car manufacturers to churn out more electric vehicles. The new rules, known as the Clean Cars rule, are about as strict as Aunt Edna’s gluten-free diet – and just like that diet, they’re bound to make everyone miserable.
But wait, it gets worse. Just one day after this nutty plan was put into motion, Hertz, the rental car behemoth, saw its CEO step down amidst the wreckage of a failed electric vehicle rental program. The company’s foray into the world of EV rentals went about as well as a lead balloon, with customers rejecting the idea faster than they reject Aunt Edna’s fruitcake at Christmas.
Biden Moves Forward With Unhinged Electric Vehicle Mandate

Not to be outdone, American car companies like Ford are hemorrhaging money faster than a leaky faucet. They’re losing a whopping $36,000 on each electric vehicle they produce. That’s enough money to buy a small boat, or at least several pairs of fancy cowboy boots.
And if that wasn’t enough, it turns out that the states with the most electric vehicles are about as red as a baboon’s backside during mating season. Meanwhile, the states with the fewest electric vehicles are as blue as a Smurf’s backside after a dip in a pool of blue paint.
To top it all off, the country’s electric grid is already on life support, and Biden’s electric vehicle mandates are sure to push it over the edge. Senator Shelley Moore Capito has sounded the alarm, warning that the grid simply can’t handle the surge in demand that these mandates will bring. It’s like inviting the entire neighborhood to your pool party when you know darn well that your pool can barely fit your pet goldfish.
So, there you have it, folks. The Biden administration is not just dragging us into a future of electric vehicles – it’s shoving us, kicking and screaming, into a future where the lights flicker and the wallets empty faster than you can say “electricity bill.” What a shocker.
