In a truly impressive display of tone-deafness, President Joe Biden managed to completely miss the mark while giving a speech on junk fees, all while news was breaking that Hamas terrorists had killed at least 22 Americans and were still holding others hostage. It’s mind-boggling that anyone on his team thought this was a good time to talk about junk fees. Seriously, do they not have a better sense of timing than that?
Let’s be clear here—junk fees are not the issue the American people are concerned about right now. They’re worried about the safety of their fellow citizens, who are being held captive by a terrorist organization. But apparently, President Biden thought it was more important to discuss the “Junk Fee Prevention Act” than to address the crisis at hand. This level of tone-deafness is truly astonishing.
And let’s not forget about Bidenomics, which has been an absolute disaster for the average American. Despite claims of job creation, most people are still struggling to make ends meet and are living paycheck-to-paycheck. The cost of living has skyrocketed, making it nearly impossible for the middle class to build wealth. Yet, President Biden seemed completely oblivious to the real concerns of the American people, choosing instead to crack weird jokes about women.
This is not the time for jokes and discussions about junk fees. The situation in the Middle East is dire, with Americans trapped and in danger. We need a president who can be serious and somber in the face of such a crisis, not someone who is more interested in cracking jokes. If President Biden can’t handle the responsibility of addressing these important issues, then maybe he shouldn’t be president at all.
Overall, this displays yet another example of the weakness and incompetence of the Biden administration. America needs a strong leader who can effectively handle the explosion of violence happening around the world, not someone who is completely unaware of how bad they look. It’s time for a change.
