During a recent press conference, President Biden was asked a question by Laura Barrón-López, a reporter from taxpayer-funded PBS. The pre-approved question was loaded and designed to allow the President to spout off about so-called “Republican-led states” and their supposed bigotry. It wasn’t real journalism, but rather advocacy, and a pathetic attempt to invite Biden to attack his political opponents. The framing of the question was biased and loaded, with “rights” and “medical care” being used inappropriately. Additionally, there was no mention of the violent leftist agitators from Antifa who also engaged in the recent brawl with “anti-LGBTQ” protestors in California.

Furthermore, not a single question was asked to the British Prime Minister about similar policies being implemented in progressive Western European countries, including in Norway where gender-affirming care for minors is being reevaluated. Meanwhile, in California, there are political leaders advocating for radical legislation to take minors out of state without their parents’ knowledge to perform medical procedures. Has Biden, who claims to be protecting children, delved into these issues at all? It is doubtful.

Biden’s statements and actions are out of step with mainstream America. A Washington Post-KFF poll found that most Americans believe gender is based on the sex assigned at birth, and the majority oppose providing puberty blockers to children. Biden tries to intimidate Americans, claiming that they are all bigoted and that kids need protection from book bans. But, what does protection mean? Is it the protection that children really need when pornographic material is being proposed in schools? Biden seems to be in a thick bubble, with outdated information, making threats seem much more present than they actually are.
This press conference was a pathetic attempt to further Biden’s minority-held positions. It is time for Americans to take a stand and differentiate between genuine causes for concern and generalized anti-LGBT ranting. Conservatives cannot fall prey to the leftist identity fixated group, nor can they allow Biden to continue his ideals with unchallenged comments. It is essential to stand up for core American values and protect our citizens.
