Biden’s HHS Targets Pro-Life Centers, Snubs 74% of Americans & Needy Families!

In a shocking move that puts the interests of the abortion industry before the needs of women and families, President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is proposing a rule that could deprive pro-life pregnancy resource centers of vital funding. Under this rule, states would no longer be able to use Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds to support these centers that provide essential services to pregnant women in need.

It’s worth noting that pregnancy resource centers enjoy widespread support among the American public. A recent poll conducted by Creative Response Concepts found that a whopping 74% of respondents supported public funding for these centers. So why is the Biden administration ignoring the will of the people and undermining the important work of these centers?

The proposed rule would primarily affect four states: Missouri, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Indiana. These states allocate between $1-7 million of TANF dollars each year to fund pregnancy resource centers. However, this amount pales in comparison to the $670.4 million that Planned Parenthood received in federal and state taxpayer dollars in just one year.

It’s clear that the Biden administration’s decision is not about choice or women’s health. It is a thinly veiled attempt to push its radical pro-abortion agenda by shutting down pro-life alternatives to abortion. This is yet another example of how Democrats prioritize abortion over providing the necessary support for women facing unexpected pregnancies.

The targeting of pregnancy resource centers is not new. Pro-abortion activists, including the group Jane’s Revenge, have been attacking these centers for years. After the recent Supreme Court ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the attacks intensified. Pro-abortion lawmakers spread baseless and dishonest rhetoric about crisis pregnancy centers, trying to undermine their credibility and effectiveness.

Funding is crucial for these centers to continue their invaluable work. They provide comprehensive support to women, offering free ultrasounds, medical exams, counseling, and assistance throughout the pregnancy and even after the baby is born. They also provide crucial resources like food, diapers, furniture, and clothing. Additionally, they offer mentoring, educational programs, and financial help for housing, transportation, utilities, and even tuition.

By cutting off funding to pregnancy resource centers, the Biden administration is betraying the very purpose for which TANF was created – to help women and families in need. It is an unfortunate and misguided decision that disregards the wishes of the majority of Americans who believe in supporting women and providing them with real choices.

It is clear that the Biden administration’s stance on abortion is extreme and out of touch with the values of the American people. By attacking pro-life pregnancy resource centers, they are ultimately limiting options for women and perpetuating a culture of abortion. It’s time to stand up for the rights of the unborn and support organizations that provide real help and alternatives to abortion.
