President Joe Biden has, once again, managed to mix up European leaders, creating a bit of a kerfuffle at a recent fundraising event in New York. The Commander in Chief attended three campaign events in the Big Apple and decided it was the perfect time to share a little tale about his 2021 rendezvous with the leaders of the G7 countries in Cornwall, England. However, things took a turn for the comical when he mistakenly named the deceased Helmut Kohl as the one questioning him, when, in reality, it should have been Angela Merkel.

This is not the only instance of President Biden’s confusion with European leaders. Just a few days prior at a campaign rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, the President once again fumbled the names, this time referring to speaking to “Mitterrand from Germany,” who was actually the President of France from 1981 to 1995 before his passing in 1996.
The mix-up is not only a source of amusement for many, but it also raises concerns about President Biden’s mental acuity, especially as voters are expressing heightened worries about his age and overall well-being. According to an NBC News poll, a staggering 76% of voters have major or moderate concerns about the President’s age and physical and mental health, and a shocking 54% of his own Democratic base share these concerns.
