The Biden administration’s latest antics seem designed to create chaos just as a newly elected Republican president prepares to take office. Instead of paving the way for a smooth transition, Biden has extended an open invitation for even more illegal immigrants to flood into the United States. This move not only raises eyebrows but suggests a cynical attempt to undermine the incoming Trump administration right from the get-go.
In a bewildering twist, the outgoing administration is rolling back some critical immigration restrictions. This sets the stage for a potential mass influx of undocumented migrants who could arrive just before President Trump takes the reins for his second term. While Trump has signaled his intention to declare a national emergency and possibly deploy military resources for mass deportations, the Biden team seems dead set on complicating those plans. The Department of Homeland Security is launching an ICE Portal app, which will allow migrants to bypass in-person check-ins, opting instead for a decidedly less secure electronic check-in method via their phones or computers.
