Last week, Special Counsel Robert Hur bravely spoke out about President Joe Biden’s declining mental prowess. It’s about time someone had the guts to point out the obvious! But unfortunately, instead of indicting the president for mishandling classified documents like he should have, Hur used Biden’s mental decline as an excuse to let him off the hook. Typical Democrat double standard!

But the icing on the cake for the Democrats is Biden’s abysmal poll numbers. It’s no surprise that they’re already looking for a backup plan for 2024. I mean, who in their right mind would want to support a president who can’t even remember what day of the week it is?
According to Politico, the Democrats are facing a whole bunch of unattractive options. They’re desperately trying to convince Biden to step aside and make room for a new nominee. But here’s the problem: filing deadlines for primary ballot access have already passed in most states. It’s like they’re playing a game of musical chairs, but all the chairs are already taken!
If Biden were to step aside (which, let’s be honest, is highly unlikely), the Democrats would have to grapple with the thorny issue of Vice President Kamala Harris. Not only are her poll numbers even worse than Biden’s, but they’re scared that dropping her would alienate African American voters. It’s almost like the Democrats care more about identity politics than they do about the well-being of the country. Shocking, I know.
And even if they manage to figure out what to do with Harris, they’ll still have to find a candidate to rally around. Good luck with that! The Democrats are notorious for their internal chaos and lack of party unity. It’s almost like they’re more interested in tearing each other apart than actually accomplishing anything.
But here’s the real kicker: replacing Biden would create a logistical nightmare. Military ballots for those serving overseas go out shortly after the convention ends, and early voting starts in September in some states. If votes have already been cast with Biden’s name on the ballot, any attempt to replace him would end up in court. Once again, the Democrats find themselves in a sticky situation of their own making.
It’s clear that the Democrats are in disarray. Their backup plan for 2024 is nothing more than a pipe dream. Maybe, just maybe, it’s time for the American people to wake up and realize that the Democrats are not the solution to our problems. In fact, they might just be the problem themselves.
