President Joe Biden is set to address the nation regarding the recent release of hostages in Gaza. Rumor has it that two American citizens were among those set free by the terror groups. The President will deliver his remarks from the beautiful island of Nantucket, Massachusetts, at the stroke of noon.

Now, let’s not forget who we’re dealing with here – Hamas, a known terrorist organization. It’s great news that hostages have been released, but let’s not get too carried away with praise for these terrorists. Negotiating with them sets a dangerous precedent, as it only incentivizes future hostage-taking. We cannot forget the countless innocent lives lost at the hands of Hamas.
This temporary ceasefire also raises eyebrows. While it allows for aid to be brought into northern Gaza, we must question the effectiveness of this gesture. Will Hamas use this opportunity to rebuild its weapons arsenal? Will they use their newfound freedom to plan more attacks on innocent civilians? These are important questions that need to be asked.
In the end, while we all appreciate the safe return of the hostages, we must remain vigilant and realistic about the true nature of the terrorist organizations we are dealing with. Joe Biden can give his speech, but let’s hope he doesn’t sugarcoat the harsh reality of the situation.
