But the real reason for his visit could be nothing more than a political ploy to salvage his crumbling reputation in the heart of Trump territory. In fact, the Biden administration’s lackadaisical response to the crash reeks of intentional neglect, likely due to the town’s overwhelming support for the former president.
Now, the President is scrambling to make amends, but it’s all too little, too late. His dereliction of duty has left the town in shambles, and the people of East Palestine are rightfully perturbed by his sheer tardiness. The fact that Biden is making a last-minute appearance in this hardcore Trump country signals a desperate attempt to court support where his party has long been snubbed.
But let’s face it, folks, Biden’s delusional hope of pulling an Obama-style political miracle is nothing short of a sad joke.
