Biden’s Parole Program Uses Humanitarian Excuse to Bring Economic Migrants from Stable Nations

President Joe Biden has been covertly ushering in a flood of “parole” migrants through a program that allows them to skip the arduous journey through Central America and Mexico and land directly in the United States. The justification for this scheme? Apparently, it’s all in the name of “humanitarian” causes. Biden argues that by flying migrants in from countries that are already safe and prosperous, he is saving them from the perils of trekking through dangerous territories to illegally enter the U.S. However, critics are not buying into this narrative.

Elizabeth Jacobs from the Center for Immigration Studies raises a valid point when she questions the real intentions behind the parole program. According to Jacobs, the program seems to be operating as an unauthorized secondary immigration system, allowing aliens from stable countries to benefit under the guise of humanitarian reasons. This raises concerns that the program is being exploited to bring in individuals who are already settled in secure nations.

The program, known as CHNV (Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans), has facilitated the entry of over 460,000 economic migrants into the U.S. This includes not just those fleeing dire circumstances, but also individuals coming from countries that offer safety and stability, such as Australia, Canada, and various European nations. The inclusion of vacation destinations like the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands in the list of processing locations adds a bizarre twist to the situation.

Andrew Arthur, another voice from the Center for Immigration Studies, points out that migrants arriving from countries other than the designated CHNV nations are essentially trading up from their current locations. The focus, he argues, is not on genuine asylum claims but on simply moving individuals into the U.S. through a questionable backdoor method.

Moreover, the utilization of Biden’s Advanced Travel Authorization (ATA) program as a means for these migrants to gain legal status and seek asylum only serves to highlight the exploitation of the parole program. While these individuals go through the lengthy immigration court process, they are essentially taking up job opportunities that could benefit American workers, particularly the younger generation.

The implications of this covert influx of migrants raise serious questions about the true intentions behind Biden’s immigration policies. By allowing individuals from prosperous nations and luxury vacation spots to enter the U.S. under the guise of humanitarian aid, the administration is not only sidestepping Congress but also potentially undermining the job prospects of American citizens.
