President Joe Biden is heading to Walter Reed Medical Hospital for his annual physical, but the White House didn’t give the press a heads up, which is more secret than the secret sauce on a Big Mac. Meanwhile, reporters were getting antsy, asking when Biden would finally go in for his check-up. Sneaky, sneaky, Mr. President.
When asked about the trip, Biden casually mentioned it before hopping on Marine One, like it was just another Tuesday afternoon stroll. No big deal, right? But here’s the kicker: the White House made it clear that the doctors won’t be standing by for any inquisition about Biden’s overall health, and definitely not about his mental state. It’s like they’ve installed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door of the President’s medical records.

The press has been barking up the tree, wanting to have a chat with Biden’s personal physician about all this. They’re especially fired up after Special Counsel Robert Hur decided not to press charges against Biden for his memory lapses concerning classified information. The White House is dodging questions left and right, and it’s starting to smell fishier than a tuna sandwich left out in the summer sun.
Despite the mounting concerns about Biden’s mental sharpness, the White House isn’t budging an inch. When pressed about getting some face time with the doc, they tossed out a snappy retort about Hur not being a medical expert. Smooth move, White House. Real smooth. But hey, at least Biden won’t have to take a cognitive test as part of the exam. Phew, dodged a bullet there, right?
