Rep. Comer, a leading Republican in the impeachment inquiry against President Biden, unveiled a compelling video on X that meticulously detailed the timeline and transactions involved. The video highlights how Hunter Biden exerted pressure on a Chinese company, coercing them to pay his company a whopping $10 million. Allegedly, failure to comply would have resulted in the wrath of then-Vice President Biden.
In 2017, Hunter sent a message to an executive at CEFC, demanding the capital payment of $10 million while claiming to be in the company of his father. He made it clear that the “Biden network” would turn against the associate if he didn’t comply. The text exchange reveals the extent of Hunter’s influence: “I am sitting here with my father, and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me… you will regret not following my direction.”
To the shock of many, the executive responded, stating, “CEFC is willing to cooperate with the family.”
Only a few days later, an initial $5 million payment was made from a CEFC-linked company to another controlled by Hunter and his associate. This labyrinthine trail ultimately led to James and Sarah Biden, who eventually cut a check of $40,000 and labeled it as a “loan repayment” from the borrowed funds.
Rep. Comer asserts that even if this check were indeed a loan repayment, it exposes how Joe Biden benefitted from his family leveraging his name for personal financial gains, and all this money remarkably originated from China. Comer emphasizes, “Without his family peddling his name, and his son threatening a CEFC associate with consequences that he said Joe Biden knew about, James wouldn’t have had the $40,000 to write a check to his brother Joe.”
To make matters worse, this nefarious scheme began while Joe Biden was still Vice President, putting America at risk of blackmail and subordinating the nation’s interests to his own desire for money.
It is essential to mention that President Biden claimed in 2020 that his family never accepted money from China, but the Oversight Committee’s exhaustive examination of bank documents and emails from Hunter’s laptop have proven this statement to be false. The evidence reveals a pattern of Biden showering Chinese executives with personal communication, visits, and even providing recommendations for their family members. The extent of his involvement is clear.
