The liberal media and their Democratic buddies were quick to praise Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, but let’s not drink the Kool-Aid just yet. Sure, he managed to stumble through it without any major embarrassments, but that’s setting the bar pretty low, isn’t it? The fact that they are touting his survival of the hour-long speech as a success shows just how much they are grasping at straws to prop him up.

Biden came off more like an angry old man shouting at the clouds than a strong leader addressing the nation. His veiled threats towards the Supreme Court were not only inappropriate but also downright scary. If this had been a Republican president making similar comments, you can bet the media would be screaming about tyranny and abuse of power.
It’s no surprise that Democrats are waving around a CNN poll like a shiny trophy, claiming it proves Biden’s popularity. But let’s not forget the crucial detail they conveniently leave out – the poll was heavily skewed towards Democratic viewers who always tend to give favorable reviews to their own party’s speeches. This is hardly a reliable measure of how the general public truly feels about Biden’s performance.
And let’s talk numbers for a moment. Biden’s positive reception in the poll was actually lower than any State of the Union address CNN has ever polled in the past 25 years. Even Trump, with all the media’s attacks against him, managed to outperform Biden in terms of public approval. It’s clear that Biden’s popularity is on a downward spiral, and no amount of biased polls can change that fact.
This speech was a desperate attempt to rally his base and prevent them from jumping ship. But let’s face it, there’s no new and improved version of Joe Biden waiting in the wings. Trying to prop him up like a deflating balloon is not a sustainable strategy in the long run. The Democrats may have dug themselves into a hole by sticking with Biden, and it’s only a matter of time before reality catches up to them.
The liberal media’s attempts to spin Biden’s lackluster State of the Union address as a triumph are nothing but smoke and mirrors. It’s time to see through the facade and hold our leaders accountable for their actions, no matter which party they belong to. Biden’s angry tirade may have pleased his die-hard supporters, but for the rest of America, it was just another disappointing display of failed leadership.
