In a shocking display of incompetence, the Biden administration’s National Security Council’s John Kirby couldn’t even provide a straight answer about the number of American hostages still held by Hamas terrorists. How can we trust these people to protect our citizens when they can’t even keep track of them?
During a press briefing at the White House, Kirby bragged about the efforts to free the hostages, but conveniently left out the fact that he had no clue how many were still being held captive. It’s almost as if the Biden administration is more interested in public relations than actually rescuing American citizens.
But that’s not all. Kirby also couldn’t guarantee that the taxpayer-funded aid going to the Gaza Strip would not end up in the hands of Hamas. This is outrageous! We’re sending money to a terrorist-controlled territory with no oversight or accountability. How can we be sure that our hard-earned money isn’t going towards building more rockets or funding terrorist activities?

Kirby tried to defend the lack of oversight by saying they rely on “trusted partners” like the United Nations to report any wrongdoings. Well, forgive me if I don’t trust the UN to do its job. We’ve seen time and time again how corrupt and ineffective they can be. We need to have our own people on the ground, monitoring where our aid is going and ensuring it’s not being used to harm Americans or our allies.
And let’s not forget that Hamas has already been caught diverting aid meant for civilians. The “Ministry of Health” in Gaza, which is essentially controlled by Hamas, took off with medical supplies and fuel intended for the people. It’s clear that Hamas is more interested in terrorism than helping its own citizens. And yet, the Biden administration is still willing to send them money without any control or consequences.
It’s time for a change. We need leaders who prioritize the safety and well-being of American citizens over political posturing. We can’t afford to have clueless bureaucrats running the show while our fellow Americans are being held hostage. It’s time to hold the Biden administration accountable and demand better. Our citizens’ lives are at stake.
