In an amazing show of incompetence, the Biden administration took an Islamist militant group backed by Iran off of its list of terror groups earlier this year. Just a few days ago, the group claimed responsibility for a series of attacks against Israel. In a proud statement, Yemen's Houthi fighters, who are also known as Ansar Allah, said that they were behind the missile and drone attacks on Israel. This new information adds to the growing body of proof that the White House is way over its head, both at home and abroad.
According to ABC News, both the U.S. military and the Israeli Defense Forces have successfully blocked rockets and drones in the past few weeks. This is in response to the terror attacks in Israel on October 7th by Hamas. Israeli pilots were very good at shooting down rockets that were coming at the port of Eilat on the Red Sea just this Tuesday. In their statement, the Houthi movement said they were behind three different attacks, but they didn't say who or where the attacks were aimed at. The group's spokesman, Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, boldly said on TV, "The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that this operation is the third operation in support of our oppressed brothers in Palestine and confirm that we will continue to carry out more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression stops."

What's most troubling about this is that Secretary of State Antony Blinken played down the danger that the Houthi movement poses. Just a few weeks after Biden took office, Blinken quickly took away their status as a terror group, saying that keeping that status would keep civilians in Yemen from getting basic things they need. It is hard to understand why the Houthis, a well-armed and well-funded group that strikes innocent Jews in a jihadist way, are no longer considered terrorists. It's scary how out of touch the Biden administration's foreign policy is, and it shows how dangerously dumb its leaders are. That makes it clear that they have no idea who they are working with or what they are doing. That puts the US and its allies in danger.
