In the aftermath of the cowardly attack on American soldiers by Iranian-backed militants, it’s infuriating to see the Biden administration once again cowering and making feeble statements. Instead of firmly asserting that we will not tolerate such aggression, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby seemed to be playing a game of softball, claiming that they “did not seek to escalate.” Seriously? We just lost three brave Americans and dozens more were wounded, and they’re talking about not seeking to escalate? This is precisely why Iran thinks they can get away with their actions – because they see the Biden team as weak and indecisive.

Let’s not forget that Biden himself previously denied that we were in a proxy war with Iran, despite multiple attacks from Iranian-backed militants. If you continuously downplay the seriousness of the situation, the enemy will continue to attack. It’s as simple as that. But Biden prefers to live in denial, refusing to acknowledge the reality that his weak stance and appeasement of Iran have brought us to this point. And now, he claims to have sent a “message” to deter Iran. Well, that message clearly didn’t work, did it? Our soldiers paid the price.
Representative Mike Walz, a Special Forces officer with extensive experience in the Middle East, hit the nail on the head. He revealed that Biden’s response was nothing more than empty actions, bombing vacant warehouses just to create the illusion of a response. Meanwhile, the Biden team remains committed to their failed strategy of appeasement towards Iran. Their every statement ends with “We don’t want it to spread” or “We don’t seek conflict.” But all Iran hears from that is an invitation to escalate further. And now, three American servicemen have lost their lives because of it.
Walz rightfully places the blame on the Biden administration for its refusal to confront Iran and take meaningful action. He warns that when you continually play defense without punching back, it’s only a matter of time before the enemy breaks through. This administration needs to accept responsibility for the bloodshed caused by their weakness and appeasement.
We need only compare this feeble response to the strength displayed by former President Donald Trump when he dealt with Iran. He took out Qasem Soleimani, a notorious Iranian terrorist. Trump understood that appeasement never works – it only emboldens our enemies. Iran will continue to escalate against us as long as they perceive weakness from the Biden administration. They have already launched 159 attacks against us, and yet, we’ve done little to set them back.
It’s time for the Biden administration to step up, abandon their dangerous appeasement strategy, and stand with unwavering resolve against those who threaten our national security. Our soldiers deserve better than weak words and empty actions. We must protect ourselves and demonstrate to Iran that the United States will not tolerate their aggression. Let’s learn from the mistakes of the past and prioritize the safety and security of our great nation.
