Hey there, folks! It looks like the Biden administration is taking some heat for their wimpy military retaliation against Iran. Just days after three U.S. service members were killed by Iran-backed militants in Jordan, Washington finally decided to strike back. But here’s the question: will this actually deter future attacks or is it just a flashy show for the cameras?
The airstrikes hit over 85 targets, including command and control headquarters, ammunition storage facilities, and intelligence centers belonging to the Iranian-backed militias. But General Wesley Clark, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, had some choice words for the Biden team. He criticized them for not taking stronger action against the militants and accused them of telegraphing their strikes to avoid casualties. Seriously? What kind of weak-kneed strategy is that?

Now, according to Clark, these strikes won’t do much to deter Iran’s hostility towards the United States. He predicts that the Iranians will continue to attack our military forces in the region. Well, isn’t that just peachy? It’s like the Biden administration is playing a never-ending game of whack-a-mole with these terrorists. But let’s be honest, folks. When it comes to dealing with Iran, Biden is about as tough as a wet noodle.
And it’s not just General Clark who’s ticked off about this. Commentator Andrew Malcolm didn’t pull any punches either. He called out Biden for alerting Iran to the details of the retaliatory strikes, giving them plenty of time to hide their equipment and themselves. I mean, seriously? This isn’t a reality show, Joe! Our troops don’t need you to send out a save-the-date card before you take action. This kind of soft approach is what emboldens our enemies and puts our servicemen and women at risk.
But here’s the icing on the cake, folks. RedState’s Streiff chimed in, calling these airstrikes nothing more than “National Security Theater.” Ouch! He pointed out that this weak display of military might doesn’t actually make our troops safer or deter the jihadis from future attacks. It’s all just a publicity stunt to make Biden look tough. Well, if you ask me, it’s a pretty lame attempt at creating an election-year narrative.
So, what does all of this mean, you might be wondering? Well, if the United States is willing to go soft on those who attack our soldiers, why should these groups stop? It’s like telling a schoolyard bully that they can keep taking your lunch money with no consequences. It’s time for the Biden administration to grow a backbone and show the world that we won’t tolerate attacks on our military. But until then, it’s clear that we’re in for more of the same weak responses and empty threats.
