Another day, another horrific attack by someone who should never have been in our country. Bryan Kobel, a hardworking biotech CEO, was brutally beaten unconscious by an illegal Russian immigrant driving for Uber in Charleston, South Carolina. The savage attack happened in April when Kobel simply asked about bringing his service dog into the car.
Surveillance video shows the shocking violence as Vadim Nikolaevich Uliumdzhiev grabbed Kobel by the throat, headbutted him, and punched him until he collapsed. The 42-year-old illegal alien knocked both Kobel and his service dog to the ground before speeding away like a coward. Kobel suffered a concussion and needed hospital treatment while this criminal drove off to pick up his next victim.
Here is the most outrageous part of this story. Uliumdzhiev used a completely fake driver’s license to sign up with Uber and somehow passed their so-called background checks. This illegal immigrant had no valid license, no Social Security number, and no legal right to be in America, yet Uber put him behind the wheel anyway.
Uber’s response has been absolutely disgraceful. After Kobel shared hospital records, police reports, and video evidence of the attack, Uber suspended his account and blamed him for what happened. They chose to protect the illegal immigrant driver over the American citizen who was violently assaulted.
The attacker was arrested and released on just a ten thousand dollar bond before ICE finally stepped in. He is now sitting in a federal detention center in Georgia, which is exactly where he should have been all along. This never should have happened to an innocent American.
Kobel is now suing Uber for millions of dollars, and every patriotic American should cheer him on. These big tech companies care more about their profits than protecting law-abiding citizens from dangerous criminals. Uber knew their screening process was broken but kept putting illegals on the road anyway.
This attack perfectly shows what happens when we have open borders and weak immigration enforcement. Criminal aliens are flooding into our communities and taking jobs from Americans while putting innocent people in danger. Our government has failed to protect us from this invasion.
Every American family should think twice before getting into an Uber or Lyft. These companies cannot be trusted to keep dangerous illegal immigrants off their platforms. Until they fix their broken system and start putting American safety first, we are all at risk of becoming the next victim.
