They just want to make a profit. It’s the same story with Apple and the NBA, who criticize conservative policies in the U.S. but stay silent on human rights abuses in China and Saudi Arabia.

 

It’s important to remember that when these companies signal their virtue, it’s usually just a performance. They don’t really stand for anything. So next time you see a corporation trying to be “woke,” take it with a grain of salt. Their actions speak louder than their words.
