In an unexpected development, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge related to his involvement in a fire alarm incident at a congressional building on Capitol Hill. According to court documents from the District of Columbia Superior Court, Rep. Bowman knowingly activated a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building.
