Jamaal Bowman, the congressman from New York, is at it again, trying to take credit for something he had absolutely nothing to do with. This time, he is claiming that his continuous calls for a ceasefire and the return of hostages between Israel and Hamas has made a difference. How hilarious is that? Does he really think Israel cares about what he has to say? Talk about an overinflated opinion of oneself.

It’s no secret that Bowman loves to hear himself talk, but this time he has taken it to a whole new level. He actually believes that his words have the power to influence international relations. What a joke. Israel didn’t agree to a ceasefire and the return of hostages because of Bowman’s “fighting” and “flapping gums.” They did it because it was in their best interest to do so.
But this is just typical of the entitlement mentality on the left. They think they must be listened to, even when they have wrong ideas. Well, newsflash, Bowman: Israel doesn’t need your misguided advice. They know how to handle their own affairs just fine. Perhaps instead of trying to take credit for things he didn’t do, Bowman should focus on being a more effective congressman for his constituents.
In the end, it’s hard to take Bowman seriously when he says things like this. It’s just another example of his distorted view of reality. But hey, at least we can all have a good laugh at his expense.
