In a classic move of Democratic entitlement, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) is hilariously trying to take credit for the recent ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Bowman seems to think that the mere act of him continuously calling for a ceasefire and the return of hostages somehow influenced the outcome. How funny is that? It’s as if he believes Israel was eagerly waiting for his enlightened words of wisdom! But the truth is, Israel had its own motivations for the ceasefire and it had nothing to do with radical leftists like Bowman flapping their gums and “fighting.” It’s just another example of the entitlement mentality of the left, thinking that they should be listened to even when they have wrong ideas.

Bowman’s attempt to take credit for the ceasefire is not only laughable, but it also highlights the two-tier system of justice that exists in this country. While Bowman got a complete pass for pulling the fire alarm in the Cannon Building, avoiding any serious charges or investigations, ordinary citizens would not have been so lucky. It’s yet another example of how Democrats and their “magical D” can escape accountability and consequences. Bowman should be ashamed of what he did, but instead, he acts as if everyone should just accept his flimsy explanations.
It’s important to recognize the true heroes in this situation – the Israeli government and military who made the difficult decision to negotiate a ceasefire and secure the release of hostages. They did not need the input or guidance of self-important politicians like Bowman. It’s time to give credit where credit is due and stop letting Democrats like Bowman take credit for things they had no real role in achieving.
