Former Virginia Representative Denver Riggleman (R) has reportedly joined Hunter Biden's legal team to assist with his financial and laptop data issues, causing a stir in the political world. Riggleman is assiduously assessing the data discovered on his laptop as the team confronts a congressional investigation into the favorable deal that Hunter Biden received from the Department of Justice. Given Riggleman's track record of spanning party lines on matters of congressional oversight, this unanticipated alliance is not surprising.

Previously, Riggleman served as a technical advisor for the House January 6th Committee. He even authored a book titled "The Breach: The Untold Story of the Investigation into January 6th" as a vocal anti-Trump supporter. In this book, he ties the violence on January 6 to QAnon conspiracies and argues that far-right extremism poses a threat to American democracy. Others may view Riggleman's willingness to pursue the truth as a betrayal of conservative values, despite the fact that some may commend him for it.
Riggleman represented Virginia's 5th congressional district from 2019 to 2021, but his tenure was cut short by Bob Good's 16-point victory over him in the 2020 Republican primary. Good was forthright in his assessment of Riggleman, stating that he was "out of step with the party's base." In light of this, it is unsurprising that Riggleman has once again found himself at odds with the Republican establishment.
Riggleman stated that he and his forensic, data, and telephony teams are undertaking investigations and analysis in relation to his involvement with the legal team of Hunter Biden. Their objective is to collect and evaluate data across the board, leaving no stone untouched. Kevin Morris, one of Biden's attorneys, has verified Riggleman's invaluable contributions to the team. Morris stated, "We have made significant progress in unraveling the massive amount of corruption and misinformation involved in this story." Much more will be made available to the public." In this endeavor, it is evident that Riggleman's expertise is highly valued.
During the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden's campaign utilized erstwhile national security associates to dismiss laptop data as a potential Russian disinformation campaign. Since then, however, prominent media outlets have validated the authenticity of the laptop data, and no direct connection to Russian involvement has been established. Riggleman must now ensure that none of the information discovered on Hunter Biden's laptop has been falsified or altered.
Although some may query Riggleman's motivations and his decision to assist Hunter Biden's legal team, his expertise in forensic analysis is undeniably valuable. Whether you view his actions as a treachery or as a dedicated pursuit of the truth, one thing is certain: Denver Riggleman is a man committed to uncovering and revealing the facts.
