holiday cheer by hosting a Christmas event for almost 300 children through his foundation. The event, called Christmas Around the World, took place at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown and was organized by the Deshaun Watson Foundation. The kids had a blast participating in various Christmas-themed activities and indulging in multicultural cuisine.
Watson expressed his excitement about giving back to the children, whom he had met through various community engagements earlier in the year. He emphasized the importance of building relationships and contributing to the community. It’s refreshing to see a football star making a positive impact on young minds!

During the event, the children enjoyed a range of fun activities, including playing basketball, video games, and getting their faces painted. They even had the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and take photos with Watson, who also took time to sign autographs and spread joy. The kids were also sent home with multiple presents to commemorate the special day.
One young attendee, Heaven Foster, couldn’t contain her excitement and described the event as “really fun.” Watson’s commitment to brightening the holidays for these children is truly heartwarming.
Despite recently undergoing surgery in Los Angeles, Watson made a special effort to be present in Cleveland and connect with the local community. Looking ahead, he plans to continue supporting the city through similar uplifting events.
