Carjackers Mess with Armed Pizza Guy, Get Served Justice Instead!

In a dangerous world like ours today, even delivering pizza can be a risky job. That’s why it’s so important to exercise one’s Second Amendment rights and be armed for self-defense. And in this particular story, a pizza delivery man in Philadelphia understood the importance of gun ownership.

The incident occurred in a parking lot just off Stenton Avenue, right before midnight. According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, two masked men with guns approached the 21-year-old deliveryman as he was dropping off food. They intended to rob him and carjack his vehicle. The criminals forced the deliveryman into the back seat while one of them got in with him, and the other occupied the front seat. They started demanding money from him and also inquired about where he worked and if he had any money apps on his phone.

Thankfully, the deliveryman was not defenseless. He managed to escape from the vehicle and confront one of the robbers, firing two shots. One of the shots hit the would-be robber in the backside. The police found this criminal around 300 feet away and took him to the hospital, where he underwent surgery and was in stable condition. He is now in police custody, and charges are expected to be filed against him. The other criminal, however, managed to flee the scene.

The evidence suggests that there may have been a shootout because the injured robber had traces of gunshot residue on him. It’s unknown whether he fired back at the deliveryman or at someone else, but it shows just how dangerous and volatile the situation was.

This story highlights the risks faced by delivery drivers, who often fall victim to violent criminals. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics, between 2015 and 2019, 334 driver/sales workers lost their lives while on the job. In 2019 alone, 83 delivery drivers died, with the majority being killed in transportation incidents or intentional injuries caused by people.

Luckily, this pizza delivery person did not become another statistic because he understood the importance of self-defense. He took responsibility for his own safety and carried a firearm, which ultimately saved him from harm. It’s another example of why gun rights are crucial and why individuals should have the ability to protect themselves. In dangerous situations like these, relying solely on the police is not always enough. It’s time for people to recognize the importance of their right to keep and bear arms for their own protection.
