The CDC is once again showing how out of touch it is, as they have just announced that they are advising trans individuals to breastfeed. This is despite providing false information about the COVID crisis.
The CDC states that non-binary and transgender individuals can breastfeed or give birth. The agency claims that their gender identity is distinct from that of their sex at birth, and they want to share knowledge on how male biological individuals can produce more breastmilk.
The CDC is focused on disease control, so why are they spending their time debating the politics of breastfeeding? It seems that they're more concerned with pushing a more woke agenda than with their job.

The agency also issued guidelines on how doctors should use pronouns and terms when referring to transgender patients. This is because, clearly, discussing these terms is very important during a medical visit.
Many of the recommendations made by the CDC regarding breastfeeding are based on unsubstantiated scientific studies. This has led to criticism from doctors, who claim that the agency is not being honest with the public about the possible risks associated with this practice. One medication that's used to make milk for men has been linked to various health issues.
It's appalling that the CDC is considering these issues without taking into account the babies who are involved. According to Dr. Jane Orient, there is currently no reliable data on the long-term effects of breastfeeding a trans person, and there is also no evidence that the milk they provide is comparable to that of a biological female.
It seems that the CDC is more concerned with politics than with carrying out scientific studies. They have become so politicized that people can no longer trust them.
It's time for the CDC to stop focusing on politics and focus on its mission, which is to control disease. It should stop supporting ridiculous agendas and instead focus on carrying out real science.
