Seventy-five troublemakers caused chaos on the streets of Los Angeles when they took it upon themselves to block Interstate 110 in the name of a pro-Palestinian protest. The demonstration, which disrupted traffic for a whopping two hours, was organized by a group called IfNotNow Los Angeles, whose members called for a “ceasefire” in Gaza. However, what they conveniently failed to mention is that such a ceasefire would essentially leave the Hamas terror group in power, with more than 100 civilian hostages taken from Israel. Not exactly the kind of demand one would expect from a peaceful protest, right?

The group’s audacious move came as no surprise to those familiar with their track record. IfNotNow Los Angeles, despite being erroneously labeled as “Jewish” by some media outlets, has a history of targeting Jewish groups for abuse and voicing support for Hamas terrorists. Yes, you read that correctly. The same terrorists who have actively sought to harm innocent civilians and provoke the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) into taking action.
What’s even more concerning is that the Los Angeles Times, in their report on the protest, continued to portray IfNotNow as a “Jewish” organization, despite the fact that they do not speak for the wider Jewish community, especially not those who support Israel. It’s important to note that IfNotNow once publicly mourned the deaths of Hamas members who attempted to invade Israel in 2018 and were subsequently stopped by the IDF. This display of support for those seeking to breach Israel’s borders is not only concerning but also deeply troubling.
It’s clear that this protest was nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to push an anti-Israel agenda under the guise of a “ceasefire” demand. By causing mayhem on the freeway and inconveniencing countless individuals, these demonstrators displayed a blatant disregard for the safety and well-being of their fellow citizens. It’s high time these reckless actions are called out for what they truly are: a disgraceful and dangerous ploy to advance an extremist agenda.
