Democrats are at it again, putting their internal chaos on full display. Representative Gerald E. Connolly’s decision to step aside as top Democrat on the Oversight Committee means that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the socialist firebrand, might snag the coveted position. This would set off yet another war within their own ranks. The desperation to hold onto power, even if it means having the radical AOC grab more influence, just shows their disarray.
The Democrats’ handling of this situation is a circus. And who is waiting in the wings ready to turn their chaotic circus into a socialist dystopia? None other than AOC. She is eager to bring her Green New Deal ideas and radical socialism to the heart of power. While the Joe Bidens of the world might preach moderation, AOC seems eager to march the entire party off a cliff.
This mess is just another example of the left failing to unite around a clear leadership vision. AOC versus the supposed Democratic establishment just means more of the same empty promises and pandering to whichever group screams the loudest. It’s pathetic. The Democrats claim to champion democracy, yet they can’t even settle on a leader without a civil war.

The idea of AOC rising to even more influence should scare every freedom-loving American. Her globalist views and disdain for American exceptionalism threaten the very fabric of our nation. She represents everything that’s wrong with the left: anti-American sentiment guised as progressivism.
At the end of the day, this is a party in shambles, run by folks who can’t keep their house in order. If this is how the Democrats handle leadership change, how can they run a country? So, when will they stop letting extremists like AOC step into positions of power and start focusing on what really matters for Americans?
