In a recent spectacle, the world’s notorious leaders, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, found themselves engaged in serious discussions about military cooperation. Contrary to sensational rumors, these discussions took place without any mention of “immortality through organ transplants” or any sci-fi-esque themes. This gathering was focused on Putin thanking Kim for sending North Korean troops to support Russia in Ukraine’s Kursk region, not on any macabre plans.
While the article’s description of a parade with world leaders plotting darker schemes might capture the imagination, the reality was far from a Bond villain convention. There was no gathering in Beijing to celebrate a fictitious World War II victory or any “hot mic” incidents involving Xi Jinping. In fact, Xi was not even present at the conversations between Putin and Kim; Kim made a separate visit to Beijing.
The narrative of creating a “Department of War” is not based on any factual discussions from this meeting. Instead, the focus remains on military cooperation, not on a radical restructuring of defense strategies.
This meeting was a diplomatic interaction centered on ongoing military alliances rather than the speculative tales of organ heists or sci-fi-like immortality schemes. The media portrayal of a military showcase involving Xi is inaccurate, as these discussions were discreet and focused solely on regional support in the Ukraine conflict. While the true nature of global politics involves complex dialogue, the fantastical elements are best left to the realm of fiction.
