The game was on, but Mid-Vermont Christian School was quickest to the exit door. When they found out the opposing team was including a transgender player, they said “no thank you” and left the game. Because, you know, they actually care about fairness and safety. But the Vermont Principals’ Association didn’t take kindly to the move. They were quick to say buh-bye to Mid-Vermont Christian School from all future competitions.
But MVCS isn’t taking this lying down. They’re slapping the VPA with a big, fat lawsuit. The school is all, “Hey, we don’t do the whole ‘gender fluidity’ thing around here!” And they’re not about to change their tune just to please the VPA. So, they’re hauling the state to court faster than you can say “Vermont maple syrup.”

And here’s the kicker: the school’s all like, “You want us to bend over backward for transgenders, but you won’t even budge an inch for us Christians! Unfair much?” They’re not wrong. The VPA is acting like it’s all progressive and open-minded when it comes to boys who identify as girls playing on female sports teams. Yet they’re just handing Christian schools a big ol’ “get out” sign.
Alliance Defending Freedom is standing strong with the school, calling out the state’s discrimination against Christianity faster than you can say “amen.” They’re saying, “Don’t mess with our religious beliefs, Vermont. We ain’t changing for you.”
And guess what? The Western Journal is on team MVCS, and they’re not afraid to say it. They’re begging folks to pony up and help ’em keep preaching the truth. They’re saying, “We refuse to let Big Tech and woke advertisers dictate the content we share with our community.” Can we get an “amen” for that, too?
So, it looks like Mid-Vermont Christian School is in it to win it. They’re not backing down from their beliefs, and they’ve got some heavy hitters in their corner. Let’s see who comes out on top in this holy showdown.
