In a recent segment on NBC, Chuck Todd finally addressed the elephant in the room: Mitch McConnell’s health incident. Now, I know what you’re thinking, why is this even news? But you see, according to Todd, this medical episode actually makes it harder for the GOP to attack Biden’s age. Oh boy, here we go with the liberal talking points.

Todd couldn’t resist bringing up Sen. Dianne Feinstein and her long list of health problems. Apparently, she had a severe bout of shingles that sidelined her for months. Now, I’m not one to revel in someone else’s misfortune, but let’s be real here, it’s not a good look for a senator to be constantly battling health issues.
But wait, there’s more! Todd also delved into the polling numbers regarding Congress and Supreme Court term limits. According to him, most voters agree that there should be a mandatory retirement age in place. Well, of course, they do! Who wants a bunch of old fogies making decisions for our country? Sorry, not sorry.
He even brought up Senator John Fetterman, who apparently hasn’t fully recovered from his near-fatal stroke in 2022. Now, call me heartless, but maybe it’s time for him to retire and focus on his health. Congress shouldn’t be a place for people who need constant medical attention. It’s a place for action and strong leadership!
Todd concluded with the shocking revelation that there will be several members of Congress who are 75 years old or older by the end of 2023. Can you believe it? Congress is starting to look more like a retirement home than a legislative body. It’s time for some fresh faces and new ideas.
But here’s the thing, folks. While McConnell’s health may be a concern for his role as Senate leader, let’s not forget that he doesn’t control the nuclear arsenal or dictate national security policy. That’s reserved for the president, in case Chuck Todd forgot. So, trying to compare attacking McConnell’s age to attacking Biden’s age is like comparing apples to oranges. It just doesn’t make sense.
And let’s not forget the hypocrisy of the Democrats and the media. They may try to call out Republicans for being hypocritical, but guess what? They can’t wait to get rid of Feinstein themselves. It’s a wash, folks. Both sides have their own issues to deal with.
