When will the liberal media finally admit they’re out of their depth? CNN stumbled over its own facts—again—this week during prime-time coverage of a brutal ISIS-inspired bombing attempt right outside the New York City mayor’s residence. Instead of giving viewers the real facts, their star host rushed on air and blurted out that Mayor Zohran Mamdani was the target. Basic journalism? Forget about it. The truth? Nowhere in sight.
Of course, the facts paint a very different picture. The suspects in this ugly terrorist plot weren’t even after the mayor. But CNN was too busy spinning a juicy narrative to bother with reality. When your main goal is driving fear and stoking division, who has time for details? It’s classic left-wing tactics on display: hysteria first, accuracy comes long after.

This isn’t some harmless slip-up. When America’s biggest “news” network can’t get critical details right during a terror scare in our own backyard, it proves the shoe fits—these so-called journalists are hands-down out of touch and obsessed with drama. They’d rather churn out a story that fits their agenda than report the facts. How many times do they get to call conservatives “dangerous” and “misinformed” while their own anchors can’t keep the facts straight live on air?
And let’s talk hypocrisy. The left loves to claim they stand for truth and integrity. Meanwhile, they pump out half-baked coverage, then scramble to “apologize” after the damage is already done. Does anyone actually believe these apologies are sincere? Or are they just doing damage control to save face after getting caught?
The American public deserves better than this mess. Maybe it’s time the liberal elites behind these news desks joined the real world. At the end of the day, if you can’t trust the media to get the facts right when it matters most, why trust them at all? Or is the real problem that the truth just isn’t dramatic enough for their ratings-hungry agenda?
