Congresswoman Unmasks Washington’s Secrets on UAPs and National Security

Representative Anna Paulina Luna went on Newsmax’s Finnerty program this week to do what too many in Washington refuse to do: call out the establishment for hiding answers from the American people about unexplained aerial phenomena and possible non-human life. Luna, who leads a congressional task force on declassification, made plain that lawmakers have been denied access to critical information and that Americans deserve transparency about national security threats and extraordinary claims.

Luna has pushed for a House hearing titled “Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection,” insisting whistleblowers must be shielded from retaliation if they come forward with credible testimony. She argued that the problem is not conspiracy-mongering but a failure of institutions to treat serious reports by military and intelligence personnel with the respect and legal protection they merit.

The congresswoman even recounted her own Air Force experience and said members of Congress have been shown disturbing material suggesting phenomena that do not fit conventional explanations — including what some witnesses characterize as “interdimensional” movements. Whether you accept the label or not, her point is straightforward and patriotic: if credible service members are reporting things that challenge our understanding, we must investigate them fully rather than mock or bury the witnesses.

Republicans on the Hill, including Rep. Eric Burlison, have already made public footage that raises hard questions — such as a clip showing an orb-like object apparently deflecting a Hellfire missile — footage that experts say cannot be easily explained by current U.S. weaponry. Luna rightly called out the absurdity of agencies telling Congress they can’t see certain files while simultaneously asking the public to trust them implicitly with our security. If true, these revelations are not science fiction but potential vulnerabilities that demand oversight.

This is exactly the kind of fight conservatives should lead: protecting whistleblowers, demanding accountability from clandestine agencies, and refusing to let our national security be managed behind closed doors by a bureaucracy that answers to no one. The Left’s reflex to ridicule or weaponize these conversations for cultural points betrays the very real risk that secrecy without oversight poses to American lives and sovereignty.

Hardworking Americans deserve answers, not stonewalling. Congress must back Luna’s push for stronger protections and real declassification so the public can evaluate the evidence and our leaders can craft policies to keep the country safe. If Washington continues to hide behind “need to know” as an excuse for cover-up, then patriots must demand hearings, subpoenas, and the sunlight that always cures corruption and complacency.
