In the heart of American academia, where elitism and liberal ideologies have run wild, we now find Cornell University caught in quite a mess. Somehow, this prestigious institution has managed to leave us with a “zombie” Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda that’s just waiting to rise from the grave. And yes, this has everything to do with a deal made during Trump’s presidency. It’s like a bad horror movie where the villain just won’t stay dead—except this villain is DEI, and it’s prepping to come back scarier than before if the leftist academics get their way.
Cornell, along with many other universities, has become a breeding ground for liberal antics. They obscure reality with word games and hidden intentions. It’s a special kind of irony when campuses promote diversity and inclusion, yet silence any conservative voice that dares to speak up. The DEI agenda is supposed to champion inclusivity, but in practice, it shuts down opposing viewpoints. It’s not about diversity of thought, but about enforcing a single narrative. And let’s be real, this is nothing more than a political tool used by the left.

What’s truly mind-boggling is how they managed to link this back to Trump. Of course, the left loves to keep the ghost of Trump lingering in every room. This “Trump 2.0” they’re trying to avoid is just their way of shaking fear into those who might dare oppose their authoritarian grip on education. They are waiting for him, hoping they can sneak their agenda right back in while no one is looking. It’s a calculated plan, but predictable from the side that thinks they’re always right.
We need to ask ourselves, who benefits from keeping this DEI agenda alive? Certainly not the students who would benefit from real, open debates and diversity of thought. It’s the globalist interests and leftist elites that stand to gain. They cloak their intentions in flowery language to distract us from their true aim: to maintain control over the intellectual development of our youth.
It’s time for conservatives to stand firm and loud against these tactics. Supporting true diversity means championing all voices, not just the ones that fit the liberal mold. Are we really just going to let Cornell and others continue this charade? Only by demanding accountability and shining a bright light on these strategies can we ensure that American values like freedom and open discourse remain the foundation of our education system. If we don’t act now, this “zombie” will only grow stronger.
