Cowboy Chip Roy Lassos Mayorkas’ Border Failures in Fiery Showdown

Representative Chip Roy, the brave Texan cowboy, unsheathed his trusty lasso during Wednesday’s Congressional hearing to take down Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, who has been failing miserably at his job of handling the U.S. border crisis. Roy didn’t mince words as he accused Mayorkas of lying to Congress and misleading the American people about the true state of our southern border.

Using facts and evidence like a true rootin’-tootin’ Texan, Roy called out Mayorkas for his previous sworn statement that the U.S. had “operational control” of the border. Now, I don’t know about you, but when I think of “operational control,” I imagine a border that keeps out illegal aliens, terrorists, narcotics, and all kinds of contraband. But it seems like Mayorkas has a different definition of this term that conveniently allows him to claim success while the border remains as porous as a slice of Mexican cheese.

But that’s not all! Roy also hauled out another piece of evidence to prove Mayorkas’ pattern of deception. Remember the controversial incident involving Border Patrol agents and Haitian migrants? Mayorkas shamelessly turned it into a racial issue, claiming systemic racism was at play. However, it turns out that there was no whipping going on, despite what Mayorkas and his liberal buddies wanted us to believe. Another tall tale from the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Now, let’s talk about the deadly consequences of Mayorkas’ incompetence. Roy didn’t hold back when he pointed out the alarming increase in fentanyl-related deaths, which can be directly attributed to the lack of border control. Thanks to Mayorkas’ failures, we’re seeing around 200 people dying every day from fentanyl overdoses. That’s a staggering number, folks. And yet, Mayorkas and his pals in the Biden administration still refuse to take decisive action to secure our border and protect American lives.

Representative Matt Gaetz from Florida joined the rodeo, backing up Roy’s concerns about Mayorkas’ open border policy. It seems like anyone can waltz into our country illegally and stay as long as they want, as long as they don’t commit any “serious crimes.” Well, forgive me if I don’t find comfort in that. Gaetz made an apt comparison, likening the government’s smartphone app for asylum seekers to a “Disney FastPass.” So now we’re just granting entry to the country like it’s a theme park ride? Give me a break.

Now, you might be wondering how Mayorkas responded to these damning accusations. Did he provide concrete numbers? Did he refute the claims with solid evidence? Nope. He simply disagreed and failed to give any specifics to back up his statements. It’s clear that Mayorkas is all hat and no cattle, folks.

It’s frustrating to see how the Biden administration’s soft approach to immigration has resulted in a complete disaster at the border. They’re trying to undo everything that the previous administration accomplished in securing our borders, and they’re failing at every turn. Mayorkas may be the face of this failure, but let’s not forget that the buck stops with President Biden. It’s time for real solutions and real leadership, not empty promises and political agendas. God bless America and its border cowboys like Chip Roy who dare to speak the truth. Yeehaw!
