Senator Ted Cruz of Texas has called for the impeachment of President Joe Biden following the recent revelation of his involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s corrupt influence peddling scheme. Cruz has urged House Republicans to initiate the impeachment proceedings against Biden, questioning why House Speaker McCarthy has yet to take any more action on this issue. He also compared the situation to when President Donald Trump was investigated for a phone call. He asked why it was taking so long to impeach Joe Biden when the GOP have enough evidence.

According to FOX News, Senator Cruz has stated that the WhatsApp messages between Hunter and his Chinese business partner indicate that Joe Biden is abusing his government power to benefit his son and himself. The message explicitly states that Joe Biden was in the room while Hunter was making deals. Cruz believes that this is direct evidence of Joe Biden’s abuse of government power. However, Cruz alleged that the Department of Justice prevented an investigation into this matter.
RedState reported that the White House counsel spokesperson, Ian Sams, gave some bad spin by stating that Joe Biden was not in business with Hunter Biden. However, Joe Biden previously stated that he had no knowledge of his son’s overseas business dealings. The fact that they are now shifting the goalposts recognizes that there is a problem. The Daily Fetched reported that bank accounts linked to Hunter Biden received $5.1 million ten days after his WhatsApp text message to his business partner. The Chinese business partner had close ties to Chinese intelligence.
Therefore, it is clear that these recent revelations are enough evidence to impeach Joe Biden. The GOP needs to initiate the impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden, which they have not yet taken any action on. It is about time for the House to investigate it and take action against Joe Biden for his abuse of power. The President must be held accountable for his actions, just like any other U.S citizen.
