Now, this whole debacle has been a bit of a public relations snafu for Tesla and its esteemed leader, Mr. Elon Musk. I mean, imagine the embarrassment of getting stuck and needing a competitor’s help in front of all those social media people. Oh, and let’s not forget the cherry on top – Ford’s CEO, Jim Farley, went on Twitter to make sure everyone knew it wasn’t a Ford F-150 that did the saving, but a Super Duty truck.
But this little tiff between Ford and Tesla isn’t anything new. Back in 2019, Tesla released an ad showing a Cybertruck and a Ford F-150 in a tug-of-war. And let’s just say, it sparked a bit of a back-and-forth between the two companies. And now, with this new viral video, it looks like the rivalry is heating up again.
So, it seems like Ford is getting a good chuckle out of this whole situation, but who knows how long that’ll last. If these viral videos keep popping up, the friendly rivalry could turn ugly real quick. But for now, it looks like Ford is relishing in the sweet taste of schadenfreude.
